Training
In the course of our future.film.education project, we carried out an online teaching training workshop from 25th -26th of June 2022 with film, media and art school lecturers from different schools. The workshop intended to focus on the particular needs and problems faced by film schools teachers when adapting practice-based courses to online and blended teaching formats. Another important aspect was the inclusion of diversity aware methods for teaching online. Find the training materials here and feel free to use these in your own trainings. We also tried out many online tools from the toolkit in the training.
Roadmap & Interactive Tools
For developing your online course you can use the following roadmap as a framework. The roadmap guides you along the ADDIE instructional design model. ADDIE is an acronym for Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. It is as a five step method for designing and developing educational programmes. The roadmap image below is interactive. Below you will find a selection of common tools that are used for collaborative work. These tools can be useful platforms for sharing your materials during an online lesson and for your students to work on joint assignments.
Course Planner

future.film.education – Last Tuesdays-meetup
After completing our online teaching training course in June 2022 the participants wished to continue shaping and staying up to date on the "future" of film education by keeping the ex- change alive through virtual as well as, where and when possible, non-virtual meetups.
We therefore established the "future.film.education - Last Tuesday" - meetup.
Every last Tuesday of the month we will meet from 18:00 – 19:00 (CEST) in a casual setting to exchange questions and ideas, inform and keep each other updated, have fun, reflect, make plans and learn from each other.
